KiwiRail is progressing with the design and consenting process for Kaiwharawhara Ferry Terminal Redevelopment in Wellington.
This is part of the larger iReX project which will see the purchase of two new ferries (coming into service in 2025 and 2026) and the redevelopment of the ferry terminal infrastructure in Wellington and Picton.
