Community Safety & Graffiti

Remove Graffiti from Thorndon

A Thorndon Residents’ Association communication initiative; collaboration between WCC and residents. The aim is to help protect the community from property vandalism in the form of graffiti. Vandalism locations, patterns and clean-up response stand-out when they are tracked on an interactive map. Marker pins pinpoint the graffiti locations; each has linked photographs. Click on any pin for more detail. Click on the photo thumbnails to enlarge them. Pin colours change when people report a change.

Key to the map symbols:
PURPLE = WCC number yet to be allocated, or is unknown.
BLUE markers are locations logged with a WCC job number (DARK Blue markers for conspicuous vandalism sites)
YELLOW = graffiti clean-up response complete.

Advise changes to Ph 499 4444; quote the WCCjob# where known. TRA members are also invited to become map updaters; update this online map directly. Contact thorndonresidents@gmail.com. The engagement of local people is critical to success.
