Molesworth Precinct Action Group

The Molesworth Precinct Action Group is currently investigating the following four issues:

1. Beautification of Molesworth St and surrounding streets (such as Aitken St) including tree planting, the possibility of sculpture installation;

2. Increasing rain protection along Molesworth St for pedestrians;

3. The Thai Government’s plans for the old Thorndon Tavern, whether interim measures can be taken to clean it up and whether it could be developed as a community facility in partnership with the Thai Government.

4. Grafitti prevention strategies for Molesworth St and other areas within Thorndon.
